As part of Fross Zelnick’s quarterly CLE series, Laura Popp-Rosenberg and Todd Martin conducted a CLE entitled Online Threats: Strategies to Identify, Report, and Prevent Infringing Content and Phishing, in which they discussed how bad actors frequently appropriate intellectual property, identities, or other proprietary materials to further their illegitimate objectives. Based on their deep experience uncovering and stopping these practices to protect diverse clients, Laura and Todd offered strategies for tracking down offenders and using trademark, copyright, and other IP protections to end these practices—and even recover damages.
