Mary Stottele advises clients in intellectual property matters relating to brand and design protection. Her practice focuses on availability, acquisition, defense, and enforcement of both trademark and design patent rights. Mary manages trademark and design patent portfolios for clients ranging from startups and emerging companies to large multinational companies across diverse industries including beauty and fashion, luxury brands, consumer products, food and beverage, and pharmaceuticals.
In addition to trademark and design patent prosecution, Mary has experience litigating utility patent infringement; negotiating intellectual property and software services agreements and licenses; conducting due diligence of multinational company intellectual property portfolios; and advising clients on intellectual property acquisition strategy.
Prior to joining Fross Zelnick, Mary was an intellectual property transactions associate at a major New York City-based international law firm, and prior to that a patent litigation associate at a premier intellectual property litigation boutique.
