Andrew Nietes’s litigation practice focuses on copyright and trademark matters. His extensive experience includes representing plaintiffs and defendants throughout all phases of litigation, from pre-dispute counseling through trial, in state and federal court as well as regulatory forums. In particular, Andrew has deep knowledge of copyright law with a strong background in the music industry.
Prior to joining Fross Zelnick, Andrew was an associate in the copyright group of the litigation and trial department of a premier global law firm. While in law school, Andrew worked as a legal intern for Atlantic Records and Sony Music Entertainment. He also provided pro bono intellectual property advice to clients who would otherwise be unable to afford legal services through the law school’s clinic.
