Cara A. Boyle is a seasoned international IP lawyer who manages worldwide portfolios with thousands of trademarks. To protect those trademarks, she manages international enforcement proceedings, including multijurisdiction oppositions and infringement actions. Cara also negotiates and drafts assignments, licenses, coexistence, and other commercial agreements.
Guided by understanding what her clients want to achieve and speaking in language they can understand, Cara advises on trademark clearance, registration, licensing, anti-counterfeiting, and policing issues. Her corporate transactional work includes performing due diligence on intellectual property-related matters. Cara’s clients reflect a broad range of industries, including consumer goods, insurance, automotive products, hospitality, pharmaceuticals, music, entertainment, fashion and apparel, fitness, food and beverage, and market research.
Before joining Fross Zelnick, Cara practiced at a large international firm in Washington, D.C., and at a mid-sized IP firm in Chicago.
