At Managing Intellectual Property’s 2019 Global IP Awards, Fross Zelnick received three awards: Trademark Contentious Firm of the Year – United States (Northeast), Trademark Contentious Firm of the Year – United States, and Impact Case of the Year Award for work on Royal Crown Co. v. Coca-Cola, for which partner Laura Popp-Rosenberg was short-listed in the category of Outstanding IP Litigator (New York). MIP’s 2019 rankings put Fross Zelnick at the top as “Highly Recommended” across the board in the categories of “Copyright & related rights,” “Trademark: contentious,” and “Trademark: prosecution” among both national and New York law firms. The publication also names 11 Fross Zelnick lawyers IP Stars and two lawyers MIP Rising Stars. Named IP Stars were Lawrence Apolzon, Barbara Solomon, Craig Mende, Allison Strickland Ricketts, John Margiotta, David Donahue, James Weinberger, Carlos Cucurella, Nadine Jacobson, Cara Boyle, and Laura Popp-Rosenberg. Named Rising Stars were Amanda Agati and Erica Gould McCurdy. Allison Strickland Ricketts was named to MIP‘s list of the Top 250 Women in IP for the third year in a row.
